Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 28, 2026.

Lakeshore Compliance Partners is committed to making this website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe access to digital information is a fundamental civil right, and we work continuously to maintain and improve the accessibility of lakeshorecompliance.com.

Standards we target

This site aims to conform with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard referenced by Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, and most state digital-accessibility statutes.

What we've done

  • Semantic HTML structure with clear heading hierarchy
  • Visible focus indicators on interactive elements
  • Skip-to-main-content link for keyboard users
  • Sufficient color contrast (WCAG 2.1 AA minimum of 4.5:1 for body text)
  • Descriptive alt text and ARIA labels on icons, images, and interactive controls
  • Forms with associated labels and clear error messaging
  • Responsive layouts that work at 200% zoom and on mobile viewports
  • Keyboard-navigable navigation menus and inline disclosures
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second
  • Plain-language writing for explanatory content

Known limitations

We work hard to maintain accessibility but acknowledge the following limitations that we are actively addressing:

  • The Calendly scheduling widget embedded on the Contact page is a third-party component. Its accessibility is governed by Calendly's own conformance efforts. If you cannot use the embedded scheduler, please email us using the address below and we will arrange your Risk Review by email or phone.
  • Some PDF documents linked from blog posts or downloadable resources may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are remediating these documents on an ongoing basis; if you need an accessible version of any document, please contact us and we will provide one promptly.
  • Custom font rendering (Fraunces serif headlines) may display differently for users with custom browser stylesheets. The site remains fully readable when web fonts fail to load.

Assistive technologies supported

The site is designed and tested to work with current versions of the following assistive technologies and browsers:

  • VoiceOver on macOS Safari and iOS Safari
  • NVDA and JAWS on Windows with Chrome and Edge
  • TalkBack on Android Chrome
  • Keyboard-only navigation across all interactive elements
  • Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality

How to request an accommodation

If you encounter any content on this site that is not accessible, or if you require information from this site in an alternative format, please contact us. We will respond within two business days and work with you directly to provide the information you need.

Ongoing review

We review this site's accessibility on an ongoing basis as content and features change. Significant updates trigger a fresh review against WCAG 2.1 AA. We welcome feedback that helps us improve.

Formal complaints

If you believe you have been discriminated against on the basis of a disability in the services or information provided by Lakeshore Compliance Partners, you may file a formal complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice under Title III of the ADA, or with the Illinois Department of Human Rights. We will cooperate fully with any such inquiry.
